Iron Man 3 - Most Beautiful Line
You start with something pure, something exciting. Then come the mistakes, the compromises. We create our own demons.
One of the most epic and beautiful lines I have ever heard. It was said by Tony Stark at the end of Iron Man 3. What a pure thought, with a wonderful, enlightening meaning. We get ideas, put our heart and soul into transforming it into something successful and that can be used for the benefit of mankind. But then come the mistakes. We get greedy for more fame, riches etc. Transgressions. We create our own enemies. We think we are the best in the world. The omnipotent. Humbleness, the foundation of humanity breaks down and is forgotten, till we fall and this veil is lifted from our eyes. We realize we're human again.

What I am trying to say ...
Since I am writing this while in school, don’t expect me to be all professional and condescending with my English. You know what kind of English goes around in the school, don’t you ? So what I should say, is what I don’t want to say but what I want to say is what I shouldn't say. So what I am trying to say is that what I will say is what I shouldn't say so I will say what I should say after some time.
Yeah, quite a thinker isn't it ? A mind boggler. So what I am trying to say that this actually means nothing and that sometimes in life you will find things that don’t make sense, don’t always try and figure out what they mean because sometimes they just mean nothing.
The Secrets to Pull an All Nighter
Now, don't take this is an advertisement campaigning that staying up all night is a good thing. Avoid this is as far as possible. But more often, a situation crops up in which this unavoidable. I have experienced this a few times in the past 6 months. So, here are a few pointers to pull an all nigher and then give a test/exam -
- Try to walk around while studying, sitting will just make you want to go to bed. If you have to sit down, take a break and walk or exercise every 20-30 minutes. This will freshen up your mind.
- At about midway or whenever you are feeling really sleepy, drink some cold coffee. In fact keep 1-2 glasses of it, which you can continue to sip throughout the night. I find that this is rejuvenating.
- Eat some food in between. Foods that can give you energy and staying power like protein rich and carbohydrates. Chocolates, Oreos etc. Don't eat anything heavy, as that will just make you slothful at such an hour, when your thoughts are just to sleep. Also try to avoid thinking about sleep.
- Drink ice cold water.
- Listen to some hard core metallic music, which I would not recommend as it might distract your mind while studying.
Don't think pulling an all nighter is difficult, but at the same time try your hardest to avoid it, unless there is a legitimate reason. Even 2 hours of sleep is better then none. Eat a small breakfast before the exam, and take some ice cold water with you. Take a bath and during the exam, wash your face and continue sipping water from time time. I usually am able to stay up all night by just following my first 2 points, and eating some Oreos or any small snack.

MacBook or Windows Laptop
I used to have a Windows laptop, then I bought a Macbook Pro and now a year later I am going to tell you what I think of the two. If you ever get the option, go with the Mac. It handles like a dream. People say Windows is better, but no, only a Mac user can explain the contrast. First the GUI , OS X is much more user-friendly, easier and faster to use than Windows. Much easier to work on. Come on, don't forget the App Store. Virus Protection, way better for the MacBooks. The trackpad, I love this baby, best thing that ever happened to the pointing device of a computer. And it's much cooler. Come on, see the look of Windows 8 and OS X. Macs are lighter laptops as well. Also, the statements that it is much easier to download stuff on Windows easier is definitely not called for as it can as easily be done on the Mac.
I am not saying that Windows laptops are bad, but puh-lease, Mac's are much better. At least according to me.

Conspiracy Theories
Well, well here's an introduction of a widely discussed, interesting and intriguing topic. Let us first discuss the meaning of conspiracy theories. In simple english, it is belief that a secret or not widely acknowledged but influential organization, is responsible for an unexplained episode or event.
I will discuss various conspiracy theories here, but today lets start off with one that is easy to understand. The one that I will discuss today is based on something that happened in the NBA in 1985.
This was called the "Frozen Envelope Theory." Some of you may have heard of this. Now today I will just discuss this in brief. In 1985 Patrick Ewing, was the first pick of the draft that year. According to theory, it is believed that the NBA rigged or "fixed" the NBA Draft Lottery of 1985. They say that Knick's envelope was put into a freezer , to make colder than the other envelopes. This was done so that when the NBA Commissioner put his hand into bowl, which contained all the envelopes of all the teams that were taking part in the lottery, he would easily be able to understand and pick the Knick's envelope as it was much colder than the others.
Well, I hope this aroused some interest in you people. Stay tuned for some really, really intriguing conspiracy theories.

- Harry Potter - I am sure you knew this was coming. This is a MUST read. If you haven't read this, you haven't read anything yet
- Enid Blyton - Now many of you might think of this as kiddish, but the various series that have been written by her are a wondrous way of starting your never ending reading journey. Definitely read The Famous Five, Secret Seven & The Mystery Series.
- Percy Jackson - Well, one of the most trending series currently especially after the release of its new book The House of Hades. Again a MUST read. Once you start it, its hard to stop.
- Alex Rider
- The Hardy Boys
- Artemis Fowl
- The Hunger Games

Apple's Keynote Releases
Okay, so what's the buzz about huh ? The Apple Special Event held on Oct 22 2012. Now, despite what many people are voicing, I found the event quite intriguing and impressive. I know we didn't see anything majorly new, but whatever was updated was kinda cool. Lets look at each update individually
The OS X Mavericks ( which I can't wait to get by the way ) is impressive with its longer batter life, new link sharing features, they way notifications pop up on the right hand side, which you can reply to instantaneously, the inclusion of iBooks, faster graphics, compressed memory...you can run 6Gb worth of Ram on just 4Gb of it and etc. This great update is available today, and it is free and devices as old as the ones released in 2007 by Apple can upgrade to it.
The MacPro ... Oh my god, there are too many new features. All I can say is that the inclusion of so many tremendously awesome features, on such a small device is plain amazing. It's terrific. It's different. Cost - $2999
Both the Mac Pro 13 ( Haswell) and 15 ( Crystalwell) have been updated to whatever was presumed.
The iPad air. It weighs 1 pound. That's right POUND with no S. It has both the A7 and M7 chip. It is 8x faster CPU and 72x faster graphics than the iPad 1, released 3.5 years ago. The iPad 2, will still be on sale at $399.
The iPad mini has been incorporated with the Retina display and A7 chip mainly. It has better graphics too.
iWork has been completely redesigned with a much more user friendly and appealing interface and is FREE with a purchase of any new iMac/Macbook.

- Is Apple going to release something so awesome that will shake everybody up ? Is that why they have kept everything so secret and nothing much has been leaked.

Lose Weight - Teens
Mainly for teens.
Well, we are just a bunch of fatties aren't we. I think we know the reason. In our previous years of life , when our moms gave us healthy food, we would just pinch our noses and stick our tongues out in disgust. But if we had the option of junk food, smiles would enlighten our faces. So now we are thinking why god why :( What are we gonna do about our pot bellies and elephant thighs eh ? Remember, its never too late.
Now, according just cutting off all your food is not the right path to take. Exercise. Play. Pick up a sport and run. Literally, run. Try to develop a lean body, don't go for muscle building and weight lifting as teens. Weight lifting will just hinder your growth. As for food, try to cut a bit of it. Lets say your hungry enough for two burgers. Eat one. In that sense. Make sure you eat all 3 meals though, don't skip those. Don't eat chocolates and ice cream. Try to stop eating junk like chips and coke in school and elsewhere.
Beyond the shadow of a doubt, this will help you to become thin and bring you back into shape.

All marks are equal :p
This is the lamest post I will ever share on my blog, I swear. I was just bored, couldn't find anything better to do.
Okay, so when you get your marks or percentage from school and let's say you got one mark less than your friend, you more then often might've heard your mother or other mothers say that "95 or 94 how does it matter ? It's the same thing." But what can be implied by the above statement is that 95 and 94 have no difference, so neither does 94 and 93, which further implies that 95 is the same as 93 and so on. Literally meaning getting 0 is the same is 100. I have no message to be delivered through this lame post, and hope that you can forgive me for doing so.
But I would like to say one thing though. They way people cry for getting 1 or even 0.5 mark less at the top stage seems irrelevant because that one mark is not going to do anything for you in life. Let it go bro. No need to break your back for it. According to me the important part is finishing the syllabus and giving it your best shot, as you have done your job which is the completion of the course. Marks sometimes just slip out of your hand, mistakes happen. Careless. So just suck it up, and go on with life :)

Gravity Movie - My Perceptions
Well, I recently saw the George Clooney and Sandra Bullock movie which was just released called Gravity. I for one, just like many others thought it was fantastic. Out of the world. One of the best space movies I ever saw. I would highly recommend it as one of the movies that must be watched by every one. Great suspense, adventure thriller. It shows the reality of space. The way Sandra a.k.a Ryan in the movie finally managed to land her feet back on our home planet enthralls me, that too she does it when she was the sole being living at that time in space though the direction of how to survive was given by George Clooney a.k.a Matt in the movie. People of all ages can watch this movie and well this movie shows how powerful the human brain can be in finding out a way of surviving, in situations where even thinking of trying to survive is completely ridiculous. Where there is a will, I guess there really is a way.

Toyota Faces an Issue
Well, recently Toyota has had an affair with spiders. What has happened is that in many Toyota cars the air bags have been deployed without warning with not even a hint of an accident. Actually, the reason seems to be unwanted spiders in the air conditioning units of the car. As far as research goes, it seems that the spiders' webs seem to have blocked the drainage tubes of the air conditioner causing water to divert its route into the air bags module thereby causing it to deploy. Toyota has had to call back about 800,000 cars due to this.

Friends - The Sitcom
Now, I have watched the Friends TV Show and I was so moved by it that I thought i would just write a short article or whatever on it.
My god, if you haven't watched it please do the honors and do. You will love it. It transports into this awesome, funny,loving, romantic world where six friends lead their lives together, facing all their problems together and sharing their happiness with each other. It makes you smile, more than often leaves you in peals of laughter, sometimes touches your heart and leaves you in tears. You will feel that you're one of them only and that you know them since childhood. This show becomes like your closest friend. And my god, the jokes, out of this world. In fact I have never been able to bring myself up to the task to watch the last two episodes again. I can't face it.
Make sure though, you only start watching during the summer as otherwise you will not be able to concentrate on your school work till you have watched all ten seasons. Just a piece of advice.

US Govt Shutdown Ends
US President Barrack Obama signed a bill into law finally ending a 16 day Government shutdown. Government workers were asked to come into work on Thursday after being idle for the past two weeks. This deal however is only a temporary remedy and will only be able to continue funding till the January 15. Also it raises the debt ceiling until February 7. So, the US government may face another vinegary budget feud and another government shut down early next year.

House Of Hades
Well, the new Percy Jackson book House of Hades has been released. It just got released in India on Oct 15th. According to reviews it is one of the best books ever ! Now I haven't read it, but i just bought it and am psyched to get to know what happens. And also the name of the next book in the series is out. Now I hope this isn't a spoiler, so if you don't want to know don't read ahead. Actually, I am sure everyone knows it as it is all over Facebook and other social networking sites, I just had to say it cause of technicality. So, the name of the upcoming Heroes of Olympus book is .......... The Blood of Olympus !!
