When Exams Finish :D

The day every person looks forward for, the day they feel they will go mad, many sleepless nights leading to anxiety in waiting for the day to come forth. The feeling of elation that one gets is so longed for. It is the feeling of drinking water after near dehydration. It is the day that exams finish ! The "independence day" that seems more important to celebrate than that of one's own country.

Just FYI , the shooting for the last book Mockingjay of the epic trilogy HUNGER GAMES starts this Monday. The official release date of Catching fire is Nov 11,  2013. 

Shopkeeper "FAKED"

Once when I was out shopping I entered a shop in which on a stand was a Microsoft clock. I asked the shopkeeper that it was fake right ? He answered,  "What is fake.. It has a logo which I printed from the net and the clock works." I answered, "Because the logo is like a year old." xD
He said, "No that's not possible." I replied," Why don't u check on the net :p?"
He was like ohhh. The guy was so shocked I bought the clock anyway. Lol.

J.K. Rowling New Movie

Jk Rowling has entered into a partnership with Warner Bros. to add a new movie to the wizarding world. The movie will be based on the author's life who will be found in New York 70 years before the actual Harry Potter story took place. I guess Dumbledore would still be alive though. The movie will be based on the book 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. This is neither a prequel or sequel to the Harry Potter Series, JK Rowling announced.

BBM for Everyone

Well you iOS and Android users will be happy to know that according to a tweet by Nigeria Samsung, BBM will be made available on Android devices on Sept 20. Whether it is fixed to Nigeria or not it will be available to all Android and iOS users within a short span of time. Can't wait :)

The Dual iPhone Release

Now basically all the buzz is about whether the iPhone 5S and 5C are worth their dimes. Lets look at the 5S first -

• Great Camera Improvements
• Unlock using Finger Print
• 64 bit A7 Chip
• M6 Chip
• Not much battery improvement from the 5

Now to us all these are great features which make your phone easier to use and also it gives a great feeling. The 64 bit A7 Chip while doesn't increase battery life makes the iPhone even faster to use. All in all it comes with iOS 7. The 5C on the other hand is a copy of the 5 with not cheap plastic but yeah, plastic. At not much cheaper than the 5S the 5C would not be a great buy as it is not as durable as the 5S by a long shot and is not worth its price for the features it incorporates.

Engineering Feat

The Costa Concordia massive cruise ship that was run aground 20 months ago is now being prepared to be lifted upright. Being a 11,400 ton boat it has taken about 1.5 year to come with an appropriate plan of action to make sure that the ship does not break/buckle and spills its entire contents into the sea. Engineers have taken a lot of time to attach all sorts of cable in order to get attached to the ship in a proper way and to make sure none of the metal breaks. A technique called parbuckling is being used. Even after lifting it .. It will still be low in the water. The pressure will be increased in order to make it float. The repairing of the boat itself is going to take around one year. This is a massive engineering feat.
